On May 10, 2016, Dr. Hansen, the chairman of H&L Instruments, participated in the 2016 International Symposium on Optoelectronic Technology and Applications (OTA 2016) sponsored by the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering, the Chinese Society for the Industrialization of High-tech, the International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE) and the American Society of Optics (OSA) in Beijing. Academician Jin Guofan of Tsinghua University, Academician Zhuang Songlin of Shanghai University of Technology, Academician Li Lin of Manchester University, Academician Zhao Zisen of Wuhan Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Academy of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Lu Daren of Atmospheric Physics, Academician Liu Wenqing of Anhui Institute of Optical Precision Machinery,and other academician of Chinese Academy of Sc had attended the conference. It has attracted nearly 1000 representatives from abroad and at home. The academician of Southeast University, Zhang Guangjun, officiated at the opening ceremony. At this meeting, Dr. Hansen was the chairman of the Optical Measurement Technology and Instrument.
